Start

We start our tour from BB365 center in Balatonfüred, and after arriving to Tihany, we head toward the interior of the peninsula . We are immediately greeted by a riot of fantastic scents and colors

Inner Lake, Lavender Plantation, Watchtower Lookout, Ancient Lavender Garden

We arrive at Akasztódomb Market, and soon we leave the asphalt behind; next comes Belső-tó, the Lavender Plantation, and then Watchtower Lookout, which we reach on foot after leaving our bicycles in the Ancient Lavender Garden. Viewed from here, our day suddenly makes sense.

Balatonfüred, Lóczy Cave, Jókai Lookout

Descending to the western side of the peninsula, we walk just a few meters from Lake Balaton, pass by the romantic beach of Sajkod, and continue on toward Balatonfüred. Another climb lies ahead, but we can still enjoy the route near Lóczy Cave, located close to Jókai Lookout. Here, we must once again conquer the summit on foot.

Recsek Hill, Noszlopy Gáspár Lookout

A short rest to enjoy the panoramic view, then we head north along the forest trails. After a short wait, however, we begin climbing again along the gas pipelines up Recsek Hill, the highlight of our hike. We can ride our bikes all the way to the top to admire the view from Noszlopy Gáspár observation tower.

Király-kút Spring, Csákány Hill Lookout

Next comes a steeper slope, and we continue along the forest trails, knowing that our next stop is Király Spring, where we’ll replenish our energy with spring water. We’ll need it, too, since the fourth viewpoint, Csákány Hill, offers the easiest route. However, the view from Csopak will not disappoint again.

Paloznak-Csopak cellars and wineries

On the way back, we won’t have to climb any hills, so we’ll make our way easily through the wine cellars and wineries. If the opportunity arises and the situation calls for it, we’ll pop into one for a quick glass of wine.

The tour requires a minimum of 4 participants.
