Early Spring Bike Tour 2026

Our “Ride Green” program aims to bring the joy of cycling closer to people and showcase the beauty of the area that can be reached by bike. A community tour where our goal is to enjoy cycling together and without any pressure to perform.

LOCATION: Balinka Gaja Valley Parking Lot
Parking: Balinka.
Access road to the Kajmát quarry.
Forest parking lot next to the Tölgyes Tourist Center.
Entrance to Gaja Valley.

ROUTE: Gaja Valley – Erdei Lake – Károlyi Lookout – Halomszók Hill – Fehérvárcsurgó Wine Cellars – Fehérvárcsurgó Víztarozó – Károlyi Palace Park – Kincsesbánya – Iszkaszetgyőgy – Kőpiramis (Stone Pyramid) – Iszkaszentgyörgy Country House – Rolling on concrete in Kincsesbánya, Gajavölgy.

Distance: 40 km / 400 m elevation gain Difficulty level: moderate Type: circular route

Sights: Gaja Valley – Károlyi Lookout – Halomszók Hill – Fehérvárcsurgó Wine Cellars – Fehérvárcsurgó Reservoir – Károlyi Palace Park – Stone Pyramid – Iszkaszentgyörgy Country House. The tour can be completed on a mountain bike, gravel bike, or e-bike. Water supply/catering facilities, restrooms: a forest snack bar in Gaja Valley. RULES FOR PARTICIPATION: -Wearing a helmet is MANDATORY! -Participants assume full responsibility for knowing the rules of the road, having the necessary cycling experience, and, being aware of their responsibility, will not pose a danger to themselves or others during the tour. - Bicycle in proper technical condition. - Compliance with traffic laws is mandatory on public roads. - There is no time limit; we will ride as a group at a moderate pace, 10–15 km/h on flat terrain. - Everyone participates in the tour at their own risk; the organizing body bears no liability whatsoever for damages. -By participating in the tour, the participant agrees that media materials, photos, and videos created during the tour may be published in the media/social media in communications related to the tour. -We reserve the right to make changes to the program.

The tour can be completed on a mountain bike, gravel bike, or e-bike. Water/refreshment stop/restroom: a forest snack bar in Gajavölgy. On the way there, a refreshing stop atBecsali Drink&More, and on the way back, delicious meals await us at the snack bar.
