1956 commemoration in Fonyód – festive program and speech

The aim of the festive event is to commemorate the heroes of 1956 who sacrificed their lives and freedom for the future of the Hungarian people. The commemoration will include a historical review, a literary and musical program, and a ceremonial speech.

Program:

  • National anthem
  • Festive speech by Mayor Barnabás Erdei
  • The commemorative program will be presented by students from the Bacsák György Technical and Vocational School in Siófok.
  • Preparing teachers: Gabriella Grübblén Krekovics and Yvette Varga
  • Speech
  • Wreath laying at the 1956 memorial (Balaton College, Hunyadi János Street)
  • With the participation of the 1st Children's Hussar and Fire Brigade Band
