Botanic Art Oasis: green experiences at the Dubniczay Palace

The House of Arts in Veszprém will continue its popular Botanic Art Oasis program series in November, which takes place in the participatory space created on the ground floor of the Dubniczay Palace. The OÁZIS project welcomes interested visitors every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The aim of the initiative is to encourage visitors to think, create, and learn together about sustainability, the relationship with nature and the role of visual arts in building a green future.

The free to visit, occasionally varied thematic afternoon program, which is free to attend, offers a variety of topics, including discussions on green issues, creative workshops, recipe exchange, seed exchange, and guided tours.

Program

  • November 5 - Cabbage.
    We will be focusing on a late autumn favorite, cabbage. With Advent and Christmas celebrations approaching, it is becoming increasingly important in our kitchens. In keeping with tradition, we are also preparing a number of "new" recipes.
  • November 12 - New wine.
    On St. Martin's Day, we will explore the world of new wines with the help of expert Tamás Zsandár.
  • November 19 - Apples and quinces.
    On St. Elizabeth's Day, we will prepare savory and sweet delicacies made from apples.
