AUER Festival Veszprém 2026

This year, Veszprém will host the 12th Auer Festival, held in honour of the world-renowned violin virtuoso and teacher Leopold Auer, who was born in the city.

Organised by Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, the festival aims to bring to the picturesque historic city of Veszprém some of the world's most distinguished classical musicians—artists who regularly perform as leading figures of the international classical music scene in the world's most prestigious concert halls.

As is tradition, the festival's resident orchestra is Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, the festival's founding organiser.

The program offers an exceptional variety, ranging from chamber music and orchestral concerts to world music and folk music performances. Music lovers can look forward to an unforgettable experience and outstanding performances by internationally acclaimed artists.
