Rendez-vous in Paris, or Happy Easter!

Based on the screenplay by Jean Poiret and Georges Lautner, this 1984 film was one of the biggest hits in French cinema, starring Sophie Marceau and Jean-Paul Belmondo. The story takes place during the Lenten season. Industrial magnate Stéphane Margelle lives in Paris with his beautiful wife, Sophie. He leads the life of a Casanova: no woman can resist the charming gentleman. Everything is going smoothly until the day he takes his wife to the airport and, after saying goodbye, bumps into an 18-year-old girl. Stéphane takes the girl to his usual spots: a restaurant, a nightclub, and finally his apartment. But then disaster strikes: his wife’s car has broken down, and when she comes home, she finds her husband with the young girl. In this tight spot, Stéphane lies: appearances are deceiving; the person his wife sees is none other than his own daughter...
