8th World Youth ARDF Championships

📡 From July 1 to 5, Veszprém will host the 8th Youth Radio Orienteering World Championships. Exciting cross-country races await young people at the meeting point of the Bakony Hills and the Balaton Uplands.

🏞 Classic and sprint races, hamfest and cultural experiences – everything you need for an unforgettable week!

📅 Date: July 1-5, 2026

🕗 Program:

➡️ July 1 - Arrival, training, opening ceremony

➡️ July 2 – CLASSIC 2m

➡️ July 3 – SPRINT

➡️ July 4 – CLASSIC 80m, awards ceremony, HAMFEST

➡️ July 5 – Departure

🌍 Competition terrain:

🏃‍♀️ Sprint: park forest, good roads, dense vegetation

⛰ Classic: moderately steep hills, rocky areas, forest roads

🎟 Participation fees:

• 50 EUR / event / person
• 150 EUR / 3 events
• Full package (4 nights' accommodation, full board, hamfest): 350 EUR for competitors, 250 EUR for accompanying persons.

🏠 Accommodation: secondary school dormitory, 3-bed rooms, shared bathroom (veszpremikollegium.hu)
