Ceremonial handover in Brussels
In Brussels, at the headquarters of ACES Europe, we celebrated the launch of Europe's Sports Region 2026 title, officially kicking off the joint effort to make this a reality.
At the handover ceremony in Brussels, the Hungarian delegation was represented by Gyula Porga, Mayor of Veszprém, Péter Ovádi, Member of Parliament, and Alíz Markovits, CEO of VEB2023 Zrt.
Receiving this award is not only a prestigious recognition, but also a new opportunity for us. The responsibility and mission associated with the award inspire us to work together to create a space where an active lifestyle, health awareness, and community movement are part of everyday life.
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the process so far! This title is our joint achievement, which we will continue to build on in 2026.
