Introduction

Balatonakali is a peaceful village on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, rich in natural treasures. Alongside its thatched-roof houses, Roman-era relics, and open-air concerts, visitors can enjoy hiking trails, water sports, and local wineries. The region’s almond trees and wines offer a unique taste experience.

Location & Accessibility

The settlement is accessible by car via Route 71, located between Balatonudvari and Zánka. The Balatonakali-Dörgicse train station lies on the southern edge of the village, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Long-distance buses also stop in the village center. The area is easy to explore on foot.
