An animation matinee about a family in quarantine: Croatian folk tale character Palcsika comes to life using household objects.

Overview

🐉 House of Dragons is a story that starts from a quarantine situation and invites shared storytelling: when the home is small and opportunities are limited, the family creates a space for play and imagination together. The retelling of the Hungarian Croatian folk tale The Child and the Dragon recreates a theatrical world from everyday objects found at home, with humor and rhythm.

👩‍👦 The journey of Palcsika and his mother, with a fierce dragon, a light-headed hermit, and the "sea piglet" also appearing on stage. The production sensitively addresses family dynamics and parent-child relationship. The sound design is deliberately intense: noise-canceling headphones are available for more sensitive viewers.
