BALATORIUM is a collaboration of researchers and artists for Lake Balaton - an important milestone is the release of the new album "Sounds of Lake Balaton" at the end of July, where the cream of the Hungarian popular music scene has undertaken to create a new song to convey the importance of protecting Lake Balaton.

The album will be presented in the picturesque village of Salföld on 19th August, in the company of artists such as Дeva, Jazzbois, Wave of Sound, Onakom and Józsi Hegedűs, who are also featured on the album. Before the concerts, you can also visit the educational programmes of the Balatorium project. Details coming soon.

The album launch concert 'Sounds of Lake Balaton' is part of the Balatorium Ecological x Cultural Week 2023.

Between 19th and 27th August, the current ecological challenges of Lake Balaton will be highlighted through a varied programme of events open to all. The events of the Ecological Week will be held at the Ecological Weekend in Örvényes, at the Balaton Limnological Research Institute and the Artists' Retreat of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Tihany, and at the Bánya Gardens in Salföld, but you will also be able to meet the Balatorium menu in several Balaton restaurants.

Keep an eye on the Balatorium platforms and our event; we'll soon be back with details: www.balatorium.hu / https://www.facebook.com/Balatorium / https://www.instagram.com/balatorium/
