Our international contemporary jewellery exhibition series was launched in 2023, when Veszprém was the European Capital of Culture. That year, in collaboration with Galerie Bíro, the exhibition "Delight!" was held, welcoming Europe and European artists to our city.

From the beginning, we thought of a biennial system, and this year we are organising our second exhibition of contemporary jewellery. In 2025, the focus will be on Japan, as the World Expo opens in Osaka on 13 April, and we will be joined by 4 invited Japanese artists, with the theme of our exhibition being the same as the central theme of the expo: 'Designing the Future Society of our Lives'. This is a very complex theme, which our exhibiting artists explore from a variety of perspectives. Diversity, unique use of materials, return to or departure from tradition, introspection are all reflected in objects that are eye-catching, sometimes astonishing, but always thought-provoking. The title of the exhibition refers to this idea: we must be aware of the inevitable changes in our lives.

Exhibiting artists: Krisztián Ádám, Anna Börcsök, Veronika Fábián, Veronika Fazekas, Noémi Gera, Mari Ishikawa, Judit Jeney, Kaori Juzu, Jiro Kamata, Réka Lőrincz, Luca Sági, Mirei Takeuchi, Nóra Tengely, Zoltán Tóth, Flóra Vági, Fanni Vékony, Antal Zilahi
