A Holocaust story and a personal testimony through a VR project. Directed by Barbara Bernáth.

Overview

💕 The love story of Éva and Bandi, two elderly people living in the shadow of a lifelong trauma. Éva, a Holocaust survivor, plays a role in a VR film about deportation, which she calls "second deportation." The plot follows intimate situations of confrontation with a shared past, all the way to a final shared vacation and the question of starting over.

🎞 Barbara Bernáth's first documentary film shows the intertwining of memory, grief, and love in a personal close-up with quiet yet poignant moments that draw the viewer into the emotional reality of the story.
