Félszigetkerülő Széchenyi István Memorial Regatta 2025 - Kékszalag PORT Grand Prix

Tradition and sailing experience in one tour – on September 20 in Balatonfüred!

The 'Félszigetkerülő' (literally: Peninsula Circumnavigation) Széchenyi István Memorial Regatta is a traditional autumn sailing event on Lake Balaton, jointly organized by the Hungarian Sailing Association and Kékszalag PORT in Balatonfüred. The race aims to honor István Széchenyi, a prominent figure in Hungarian boating history and economic development.

Eligible participants include World Sailing and national boat classes, as well as rating groups, with the exception of the Pirate, Flaar 18, and Open Multihull categories. International boats may also enter, provided they meet the conditions outlined in the race notice.

Race course: Balatonfüred – Tihany Strait – Bázsa Bay – Tihany Strait – Hajógyári Bay – Balatonfüred, approximately 29 km in length.

• Online pre-registration: via the VIHAR system until 8:00 PM, September 19, 2025.
• On-site registration: from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, September 19, 2025, at Kékszalag PORT (Balatonfüred, Anna Promenade 7)

The overall winner will receive the Széchenyi István Challenge Trophy, and the top performers in each boat class will be awarded cups and medals. The awards ceremony will be held on September 21, 2025, in cooperation with the city of Balatonfüred.
