An intimate portrait of the world of Russian school propaganda, with courageous resistance and a personal camera angle.

Overview

👨‍🏫 Pasha, a popular teacher in a small town in the Ural Mountains, is the driving force behind the school's "fun" and its videographer—until the invasion brings with it "patriotic" teaching materials and militarized programs. The camera, which has so far served the public, would be put to use for propaganda.

✊ However, Pasha is shooting another film: while documenting the political education of children, he forms a story about freedom from what he sees. The question remains open: what is the price of rebellion in the regime?
