Luke Winslow-King & Roberto Luti - 13.04

How fortunate that the elegantly dressed baritone met Italy's finest blues guitarist! The two unprecedented talents were brought together in New Orleans in the 1920s and have since toured the world's stages together to great acclaim.
Luke Winslow-King
New Orleans guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. His work is an eclectic mix of Mississippi Delta blues, folk music, traditional jazz and rock & roll roots. His songs blend innovative musical ideas with styles of bygone eras, making his distinctive sound both rustic and urban: a sound that reaches into the past and moves into the future.
His mellow baritone, supremely elegant stage presence and versatile, dynamic guitar playing have earned Luke Winslow-King a unique reputation overseas and abroad.
Roberto Luti
Italy's most distinguished blues guitarist, Roberto Luti came from a tiny village near Livorno to New Orleans, devastated by Hurricane Katarina, to play the streets in the mid-twenties. With his illusive, light guitar playing, he became one of the main symbols of the delta spirit that was rising after the devastation. A few years later, he became a regular member of Playing for Change, a global charity and All-Star band, with whom he frequently tours the biggest stages around the world. In solo, Luti plays regularly with musicians such as Keb' Mo', Niki laRosa, Lynn Drury, Washboard Chaz and Luke Winslow King - with whom he will be seen on stage in Veszprém.
