InterUrban: Novi Sad - Zbogom Brus Li concert (SRB)

For 30 years they've been successful in not taking themselves seriously, but they play a steadfast blend of tamburitza, rockabilly, hardcore and surf punk. They dress themselves in everything from grandma's housecoat to a Roman battle helmet and drive the audience wild with vintage moves, and with success. Their concerts culminate in a big sing-along, a cathartic bounce, and we don't even notice as we fill up on a dose of Novi Sad joie de vivre. ZBL is a distinctly local formation, as much punk as it is folk, philosophical and easy as it is bittersweet and aggressively joyful.
