The wonderful Budapest Bar band will be performing with Dóri Behumi , Bori Rutkai, Bora Ferenczi , Tibor Kiss, Misi Mező , and György Ferenczi.

Budapest Bar became famous for its gypsy music covers of popular songs and heart-warming tunes.

One of Hungary's most popular bands, it owes its magical appeal to its excellent musicians and cult Hungarian rock singers. Originally formed for a single album, Budapest Bar has been running for 15 years with twelve singers in a completely unique lineup

– perhaps this is why it has become the most sought-after concert band, festival and

regular performer on major stages. The roots of the unique style that has become the trademark of Budapest Bar lie in the world of Budapest coffee houses in the 1920s and 1930s. Well-known and popular songs are reinterpreted with a gypsy music foundation, mixed with elements of jazz, pop, rock, klezmer, and numerous other musical genres.

The original intention of Róbert Farkas, manager and founder of Budapest Bárt, was precisely to breathe new life into the genre of gypsy music played in coffee houses, keeping it alive by reviving old traditions. Thanks to the band, long-forgotten melodies have become become part of the public consciousness and youth culture. They have dusted off many old songs, revived forgotten ones; well-known songs were given a new look, and in recent times, many new songs have also been written. Eras, cultures, styles, and age groups come together in the production – perhaps that is why young and old alike love the band, which has now become a multi-generational favorite.
